This family of tools designed to forecast the heavily-damaging flow of water and debris, caused by rain precipitation is mainly based on a combination of weather-forecast and radar detection, that combined with terrain topography and sensor-based correction are able to give a prediction of flash-floods and its associated problems for each individual catchment and flow path.
Combining this forecast with the critical points on the locations, being schools, factories, train stations, etc., help very much to focus the efforts on prevention and emergency response to accurately localized situations.
